Primary & High School

Grades K-2:
Kids of all ages love to create.  If you have an iPad, I highly recommend Scratch Jr.  In Scratch Jr. kids can use code to create their own animated stories!
Second grade students may also enjoy Hopscotch.  With Hopscotch, kids can create their own games, look at games other kids have made, and take on coding challenges.  Both apps are free.

3rd Grade:
Third grade students love to code.  However, they are still developing the capacity for abstract reasoning.  To get the most from this class, I recommend third grade students take it in the summer after they have completed the third grade, or take it after-school the following year.  Click here if you would like to receive an email about our Summer Coding Camp.

For families with an iPad, I recommend Hopscotch.  In Hopscotch, kids can create their own games, look at games other kids have made, and take on coding challenges.  For PC and Mac users, Code.org has an online course that teaches kids coding logic using puzzle games.  Both are completely free and would be of great interest to third grade students.

High School:
High school students should have their own class that can move at a fast pace.  If you would like us to offer a Coding Academy at your High School or are interested in a Summer Coding Camp, let us know
