Build your own games in Scratch, a powerful visual programming language and learning environment developed by MIT.

June 12 - 16  (8:30 - 11:00am)
Grades 6 & up  -  or completion of the Scratch course

Create games and animations in JavaScript, an extremely popular language used in web development and within Unity.

June 19 - 23  (8:30 - 11:00am)
Prerequisite: Coding Academy graduate
                     or completion JavaScript 1

Create your own Geometry Dash game using the skills you gained during the school year or during the summer JavaScript course.

June 26 - 30  (8:30 - 11:00am)
Prerequisite:  Coding Academy graduate
                     or completion of JavaScript 2 

Develop a 3D physics game in Unity's professional development environment and export it to run on a Mac or PC.

Students build their first games in Scratch, a visual block programming language and learning environment developed by MIT.  We then transition to JavaScript, taking advantage of the Khan Academy learning environment.  Once students are comfortable creating their own projects in JavaScript we graduate to C# and Unity, a professional development environment. 

All classes are taught by professional game designer, Brent Kollmansberger.
